Boxing Schedule

To get automatic updates for the boxing schedule and any other changes made to your Association Website you must sign up for the RSS feed. To sign up for the RSS Feed go to the Home Page and click on the question mark above the orange RSS Feed Button and follow the directions. If you do not sign up for the feed then you will have to periodically check back for updates.

To All Coaches:

Effective immediately: There will be a $25.00 extra charge for any athlete, non-athlete, or club that wants to be registered at a show. This includes renewals also. Our goal is to cut down on registrations at shows so that we can use that time to prepare books, bout sheets, and score cards that are to be used for the regular show or tournament that is being held. This applies to everyone so please do not ask to let you by without the fees.

Due to excessive amounts of returned NSF checks we will no longer accept checks from athletes or their parents. The rule for many years has been that athletes or non athletes have to pay the club owner and he will forward his check or money order, but that rule is not being followed. So it leaves us no choice than to stop it now.

We will still accept checks from the club only. If the club or coach sends us a NSF check we will charge you a $35.00 fee plus the amount of the check. Then we will no longer accept checks from that club again. If the charges are not paid, club participation at boxing events will not be allowed until the amount that is owed is paid in full.

We will send the application and check back so that they can make a money order. This may cause them to miss out in a tournament if they do not receive their book on time. Please relay this to all athletes and non-athletes immediately.

SEPTEMBER 3RD,4TH,AND 5TH 2010

HORN (Houston Open Ring Nationals)is hosting a 3-day Labor Day Tournament. All open, novice, and international boxers are welcome! Texas comes to many of our events and it would be great if we could reciprocate. We would like to see as many clubs as possible attend this event.
